May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, a time to celebrate and recognize the contributions of Asian and Pacific Islander Americans (APIAs) to the United States. The history of the APIA community in the US is long and complex, with many challenges and triumphs along the way. This month, we have the opportunity to honor the beauty and diversity of this community.
One way to celebrate APIA Heritage Month is to learn more about the history and culture of these communities through events and activities, including film screenings, live performances, and community gatherings like the events listed here.
This May, let us celebrate the richness and contributions of the APIA community, while also committing to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in our communities and beyond.
